We are offering return transportation to The Evangeline on an hourly basis from 8pm to midnight. For those staying at other locations or who wish to leave at a different time, we have 2 additional vans offering drop-off anytime / anywhere in the area from 9pm onwards.

Getting here

Wolfville is the closest (cute) town to our venue and is 1 hour away from Halifax Stanfield International Airport. If you fly through, keep an eye out for the employee lanyards and Airport Improvement Fee poster! Sophie designed them during her internship.

We may be able to help arrange transportation to/from the airport for approximately $20-50 per person each way. Please reach out if you are interested. 

Transportation

There are several options available for wedding day transportation:
1) We are providing transportation to/from our venue and select locations in the Annapolis Valley for guests who requested this service as part of their RSVP form. Refer to the Schedule above for pick-up and drop-off details.
Note that if you do not see these details in your Schedule, it means you did not request transportation. Please reach out to Max or Sophie if you have questions! 
2) There is on-site parking at our venue. If you choose to drive, we recommend downloading Google Maps offline due to spotty cell service. Please note that there is construction on Highway 101 between Greenwich and New Minas that may delay travel up to 20 minutes for those staying in these areas or further west. 

3) Taxis are available between our venue and accommodations in both Wolfville (CJ's, 902.670.6700) and Windsor (Donnie's, 902.798.5456).

Dress code

In the spirit of our October celebration, we ask that you join us in autumn garden party attire. Layers are recommended, as we hope to have an outdoor ceremony.

Dinner

We will be serving House of Dough pizza with bread and salad. Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the RSVP form so that we can be sure to accommodate! Thank you!

Weather

October in Nova Scotia typically means classic "fall" weather (think Gilmore Girls). If nature cooperates, you can plan for breezy temperatures between 8-14°C. 

Children

Due to capacity constraints, our reception will be an adults-only event. Please let us know if you need assistance arranging childcare. 

Gifts

No presents please, Your presence is more than enough! If you do wish to bring something, we would be appreciative of any cards or contributions to our honeymoon fund.
Hotels in Wolfville and the Annapolis Valley book out quickly for Thanksgiving weekend, so we recommend making reservations at your earliest convenience.

The Evangeline Motel

The bride + groom, their immediate family, and the wedding party are staying here. Our welcome gathering will also take place here!
There is a pool and hot tub open onsite until 9pm every day.
You can book a room here. Prices range from $210-$310/night for a 2-person room. Transportation will be provided for the 15 minute drive to the venue.

The Inn at Grand Pré Winery

Located directly across the street from The Evangeline Motel, where transportation drop off/pick up will be provided for the 15 minute drive to the venue. Prices range from $225/night for a Single Queen to $475/night for a 2 Bedroom Loft.

The Breeze Motel

We have another small block of guest rooms available at this link until September 1st. 
Prices range from $224/night for a Double Room to $401/night for an Oceanfront Suite. Transportation will be provided for the 20 minute drive to the venue. 

Wolfville

There are numerous accommodation options (including Airbnbs) in the town of Wolfville, which is a 20 minute drive from our venue and a 5 minute drive from The Evangeline. Transportation will be provided from a central location in town.

  • Valley Sky Glamping: Cabins located a 15 minute drive from the venue and 5 minute drive from The Evangeline.
